This study identified a few MCL cells adhered to stromal cells have cancer stem cell-like (CSCs) characteristics and expresses high level of lncRNA “CERS-AS1” which regulates oncogenic signaling by stabilizing FGFR1 transcript via mediating its interaction with an RNA binding protein “nucleolin”. Combining nucleolin and FGFR1 targeting agents synergized and induced apoptosis in these lymphoma cells.
