Funded jointly by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India, and the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).

SAIF

Sophisticated Analytical Instrument Facility at CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow is more than 48 years old and is one of the first four such facilities set up by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India in mid seventies.

CSIR-CDRI has developed a comprehensive range of Biological Assays and Screening Protocols to study the biological activity of compounds against various diseases.

National Laboratroy Animal Center

The National Laboratory Animal Centre (NLAC) at CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), Lucknow, serves as a pivotal facility for biomedical research in India.

Bio-layer interferometry is an optical biosensing technology that analyzes biomolecular interactions in real-time without the need for fluorescent labeling.
