Prerequisites for Fellowships As a general requirement for international fellowships, candidates shall first secure a ‘Letter of Acceptance’ from our institute. Interested candidates are encouraged to:

Contact a Scientist: Approach a scientist at CSIR-CDRI, providing a recent CV and a project proposal relevant to their area of expertise. For details on scientists’ expertise, please visit the scientist profiles under the 'People' tab on this website.

Obtain Consent: Seek consent from the scientist to conduct the proposed research in their laboratory.

Communicate with ISTAG: Once the consent is obtained, communicate this information to CSIR-CDRI ISTAG, for further processing and issuance of the Letter of Acceptance.

The pre-issued 'Letter of Acceptance' could be used for Visa formalities. In case of re-issue with revised dates, the CSIR-CDRI ISTAG will assist towards the same.
