Pharmaceutics & Pharmacokinetics

The Pharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics Division at CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), Lucknow, plays a critical role in translating new chemical entities (NCEs), natural products, and repurposed drugs into viable therapeutic candidates. The division is at the forefront of preclinical drug development, focusing on quality control and establishing pharmaceutical specifications of CDRI molecules, formulation development, drug delivery systems, and pharmacokinetic profiling that ensure efficacy, safety, and patient compliance.
